Cancellation and No Show Policies:
If an appointment is cancelled within one hour of the scheduled time, there is no charge unless, that same appointment has been scheduled more than twice previously.
If an appointment is missed completely, efforts will be made by the office staff to reach out to the guarantor/individual. If we receive a response within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment and the appointment is successfully rescheduled, there is no charge.
There will only ever be a $20 fee assessed, in the event that a patient does not contact us and does not show up to a scheduled appointment.
As always, we understand that our patients are busy. We have put a text reminder system in place to help as a reminder of upcoming appointments- 7 days prior to visit (where possible), 3 days prior, 1 day prior, and again 1 hour prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Regarding our longer scheduled appointments, such as Autism testing and circumcision visits, the provider’s schedule is blocked for an extended period, making it difficult to fill those slots when an appointment is canceled on short notice. To avoid this, the policy states:
If an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, there is no charge. Otherwise, if there is no cancellation, a $50 fee will be assessed.
*If there are extenuating circumstances such as illness, accident, etc. and the appointment is rescheduled, consideration will be given and may result in no charge.
